I taught myself how to crochet while I was in graduate school, and it became my own personal therapy!  Now, as a Cognitive Psychology* Professor at Rhode Island College, I love to crochet in my free time.  (*I study learning, memory, and cognitive processes. I know almost nothing about “real” therapy.)

I created this blog so that I could share my projects and the patterns that go with them. Whether I designed the pattern myself, found the pattern online, or found the pattern in a book, each project posted here will have a link to the pattern itself (or my own written pattern), or information about the pattern book.  If you have any questions or recommendations, please leave me a comment!

I currently live in New England with my boyfriend Sam and our two cats, Elinore (left) and Teddy (right).

Sam and I met in Utah (of all places).  We both lived there for about a year working for Utah State University, Eastern. We love to travel, go hiking and camping, and wine tasting!
